In this painting I used repurposed materials such as cardboard, yarn, string and a tag I kept.

It has gold leaf, glass bead gel, inks and spraypaint as well as charcoal and inks.

The two pieces of cardboard are sewn together to mend the broken portrait and become 100% again.

She’s framed in a box frame and is floating to highlight the unique form and texture of the piece.
