In this mini lesson we will begin by painting an expressive, abstract and colourful background.

We will play with materials we have, and express ourselves by being playful through markmaking and colour choice.

Once our background is dry, I will explain how to draw the eye by using a reference photo.

We will be using water soluble wax pastels to paint the eye as a symbol of our joyful soul.
