There are times when it takes time for a painting to develope. But working on this piece gave me peace and it calmed me. So that´s where she has gotten her title.
And it was so opposite of the feelings I had, when I was working on my last painting ´Breathe and Reassess`. That painting challenged me to persevere and not give up. And because I pushed through eventhough I wanted to rip it up, it gave me so much fulfillment in the end.
Now, I´m curious what your mental image, your emotion, your subjective narrative is when you look at her?

At the moment I mostly paint on watercolor or mixed media paper. I love how I can get the watery effect and how the paper ‘behaves’ 🙂
