Piece by Piece is a reflection of transformation, resilience, and the beauty of rebuilding. I created it using reclaimed materials, cardboard, tissue paper, watercolour paper, glass beads, golden glitter, inks, oil pastel, and thread. Each element carrying a history, repurposed into something new and carefully chosen to bring texture and depth to the work.

Framed to appear as if floating, the piece interacts with light and shadow, shifting with every glance. I wanted it to embody the journey of growth, where every piece, every stitch, represents the quiet strength found in perseverance.

Much like life itself, we mend, we rebuild, and we give new purpose to what once seemed worn or broken. Step by step, piece by piece, we create something meaningful—layered with memories, hope, and transformation.
