‘Finding My Wild Heart’

In this artwork, I have captured the emotions of freedom and self-discovery.
With a combination of acrylic, spraypaint, ink, and layers of oilpaint, I create a dynamic abstract landscape in which the figure, dressed in a fiery red dress, seems to emerge.

The birds symbolize the flight into the unknown and the courage to truly be oneself.

This painting invites the viewer to find and follow their own ‘wild heart.’
This painting is inspired by the beautiful poem by Jeannette LeBlanc: I’ve lost my wild heart once.
