The lovely Olga Furman has invited me again to be a guest teacher on her year-long online art class that teaches you how to create gorgeous art and improve your skills using different art supplies.
The course starts in January 2021 but the registration is now open and I am giving away a free spot so keep on reading!
A great team of 35 international teachers are exited to share our creative process with you, knowledge, tips and tricks, step by step, from start to finish. We will teach you on subjects like value, colour theory, proportions and angles, mark making and much more! You will learn how to create beautiful faces and figures, pets and birds, flowers and landscapes in many different styles! There will be lessons using acrylics, oils, watercolous, encaustics, mono-printing and more!
This amazing course is designed so that students of all skill levels will enjoy it and you will get at least 55 downloadable video lessons with supporting PDF documents. Each week you will receive one lesson, starting on January 2021. Each teacher will bring you one mini lesson and one in depth lesson in their unique style.
I really love these collaborative courses because it is the best way to gather a lot of different tips and techniques to grow as an artist. Another big advantage is that it is a great value for your money. And if you are one of the first 500 customers to register for the course or if that number is not reached, before October 27th, you can purchase it for the early bird price of $99 and save $70 from the regular price of $169. That would be less than $2 per lesson ($1.80), don’t miss out!
You will also get access to a Facebook group that will be your virtual classroom where you can show off your lessons, ask for advice and interact with the other students. I always love how supportive everyone is, it is a safe and lovely room. Don’t forget to say hi there, if you like, so we will be getting to know each other.
I really love the lineup of the teachers this year and I’m so honoured to be a part of it. Check out all the gorgeous styles they will be teaching in the photo above!
I am also very proud of our students from previous years. Many of them are so glad they joined our course and describe Paint Your Heart and Soul as “a turning point in my art skills“, “where everything finally clicked” and “I can’t stop painting!“.
What will i be teaching?
In my mini lesson we will focus on achieving emotion in the eyes. We will be drawing the eye looking angry, sad, surprised or startled. This will be a good exercise to do on a regular basis, to really get to know the expressions you want to convey in your portrait.
We will make sure to get the values right by using toned tan paper, graphite and white pastel.
For my main lesson we will be painting a portrait in a difficult angle using a reference photo. We will be trying to achieve likeness in the drawing, but be free in our painting and colours.
I will show you how I mix the paints and guide you through the process!
If you can’t wait to dive into these and all the other lessons, please support me by signing up for the course through this link. I would appreciate it so much and you will be supporting me this way!
